A bronze star recipient for his service in Iraqi Freedom (2004-2005), Foos has completed twenty-seven years of service in both the U.S. Army and Army Reserves in 2007 and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, Military Police Corps. Foos is an international security consultant with specialties in security, vulnerability, threat, and risk analysis.
His primary objective is to help serve and facilitate the exchange of information on best-practices and foster a security risk management approach amongst business owners, facility managers, event coordinators, civic action groups, and government officials who are responsible for safety and security of their facilities, events, property and people. Foos has helped lead in the development of security risk methodologies used by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), adapted risk management process in combat operations, and modified risk management approaches for multiple different sites, events, and structures. Foos is an excellent facilitator and instructor on the topic of security and risk management in the field, in the classroom or workshop environment.
Foos is a graduate from University of Nebraska in Lincoln, with an MBA from Campbell University (North Carolina).
